Orange Coast Analytical participates in a number of proficiency programs including the AIHA EMPAT (Environmental Microbiology Proficiency Analytical Program) which has been developed for laboratories specializing in the analysis of microorganisms such as fungi. Sample Turnaround Times: Orange Coast Analytical, Inc offers extremely efficient turnaround times with same day results possible. Our standard turnaround time is 48-72 hours from delivery. Culturable samples require 5-7 days upon sample receipt to allow for optimal colony growth.

Sample Shipping: Non-culturable air and surface samples may be shipped using express or regular mail. Culturable samples should be sent within 24 hours using overnight courier services. Culture plates should be sealed with tape or parafilm. The use of cold packs or cooling chambers are not recommended because of excessive moisture produced during transit. Care should be taken when packaging samples to prevent breakage and contamination.
